In 2010 we extended our dining room and now have a contemporary, welcoming dining room in which we have rich warm colours and paintings on the walls by local artist and Leonie’s Mother Joan McCarthy. These are all for sale and Joan welcomes commissions also. In our bar area we welcome customers to sit and enjoy a drink or to dine in the warmth of our open fire in Winter.
Paul’s brother Brian is Granville’s Head Chef. His training with the late Matt D’Arcy in the Park Hotel, Kenmare, Co. Kerry, makes him an excellent Chef with his influences veering him towards classic French sauces and simple uncomplicated food that leaves you feeling like you must come back for more.
We serve the very best in steaks and seafood. Our menu ranges from fillet steak and T-bones, to the very best of fish from scallops, crab claws, hake, monkfish and sea bass to name a few.
We also serve a fantastic value menu from 5.00 - 7.00 daily, offering a la carte meals at an excellent discount.
Leonie and her mum run the home baking side of Granville’s, making all our breads and pastries. We also grow as many of our fresh herbs for the Spring, Summer and Autumn months as possible.
Everyone is Welcome in Granville’s and we aim to give the customer a warm and friendly welcome at all times.
